hey gang wanna go camping? Last year, we had an overnight camping trip and it was a smashing success. We went on hikes with the kids, ate well, roasted marshmellows, and then sat around the fire shooting the shit after the kids went to sleep. I was really cool. This year plans are in the works for a trip to Sunol campground on May 21-22. I have 2 spots reserved and we need someone to step up and reserve the other 2 (provided that people are interested.) chime in, especially if you are an EB parks member (you get a discount!)

This was a dad's and kids only event before and the bonding was fun. I think some dads left their younger kids with the spouses last year, meaning some quality time with the older kids. We figured out who was bringing what ahead of time, and had some pretty delicious chow.

Of course, if people want to mix things up this year and do it differently, we'd listen to all suggestions! Chime in if you are interested.
