There won't be an afternoon playdate on the 1st wednesday in January. Instead the next afternoon playdate will be on the 2nd Wednesday of January.  The first Wed.didn't work so well for this month.

Since it is getting dark early, the plan for next time   is to end up at the pizza place(Round table or Pizza Hut) in lafayette with the kiddie area.  First meet at a nearby by park, play there until it gets too cold, and then for those that want, go out for pizza and a beer.
