Well, it's a tough week for our family so I'm glad I scheduled something fun for this Friday.

We're going to Children's Fairyland! It's at 699 Bellevue Ave in Oakland, right next to Lake Merritt.

This outing is open ended. It opens at 10am and closes at 4pm. If you can't find us, Benjamin and I will have lunch at their cafe at noon. Depending on how tired or excited Ben is, we'll leave sometime in the early or late afternoon.

Admission is $8 for everyone 1 to 100. Babies under 1 are free. There is a one day group pass that would make it $7 for ten people, but I don't think it's feasible for the people that usually come on Fridays. We would need to have ten people meet at the same time. We're lucky if ten people show up on a Friday (and people never show up at the same time). But if you want to try for the group discount, post that you're coming and if there's enough we'll wait for each other at 10am.
