We're kicking it up a notch!

We'll meet starting at 10am at the mini-park on the Ohlone Greenway (under the BART tracks) at Manila Ave in El Cerrito. This mini-park is kinda lame, but we're just using it as a meeting place.

Then we'll walk two blocks to the main fire station at 10900 San Pablo Ave, where the tour will start at 10:45am. The tour will be about 45 minutes or less. The firefighters might have to go out if a call comes in, so please be prepared to get your kids out of the way and to explain what happened.

I'm going to bake some cookies to give them as a thank you.

I know dads sometimes get busy on Fridays, so I'm going to open it up to everyone. Moms have showed up before on Fridays, but I want to welcome moms or other caretakers even if dad can't make it. I'd hate for a kid to miss the fire station or some other Friday activity, if someone else can take them.
