Grills. Nice Play structure for the kids, and if you feel like hiking you can walk around the reservoir. The one bad thing is that you have to pay $5.00 for parking. Lots of meters if you want to bring quarters or you can pay the tollbooth. We'll meet at the playground which is to the left of the parking lot.

There are a few big play structures, swings, lots of grass for playing on, and a path for the big kids to ride bikes on. (Kinda similar to Orinda park, but more fog and hippies.) Aquatic Park is just south of University Avenue, between Highway 80 and San Pablo. The easiest approach is to take 6th Street and turn down Bancroft (heading west, toward the water), crossing the train tracks, then turn left on the road that just parallels the water.

Lafayette Community Park is a secluded park with a brand spanking new play structure. From the street you can only see the parking lot. You'll need to cross a pedestrian bridge in the back left corner of the lot to access the park.
